Edmonds Community College is offering an ONLINE class in Data Warehousing Fundamentals during Winter quarter, 2010. Tim Feetham is the instructor.
The class runs January 4 through March 14th, and the tuition is $447.65. This course is appropriate for both business and I.T. professionals, so if you are planning a data warehousing project at your organization, this is an inexpensive and convenient way to train project team members. This is not specifically an exam-prep course, but it will cover fundamental concepts and terminology to help prepare for the CDMP or CBIP Data Warehousing Exam.
Here's the course description:
Introduction to data warehousing concepts for business and IT professionals. Covers design, development and use of data warehouses for business decisions. Addresses terminology, architectural and management considerations related to data warehouse projects.
To register, go to http://getstarted.edcc.edu/future or contact Eva Smith at esmith@edcc.edu if you have any questions. Registration will be open for this class until December 29th.
NOTE: If you've never taken a class from Edmonds CC before, you will need to complete an online admissions process to get a student number before you can register online for the class. Prerequisites: Familiarity with basic database concepts and data modeling. No placement exams are required.
